How To Play Red Dog

Red Dog where the object is to predict whether the value of card “C” falls between the values of cards “A & B” drawn previously by the table dealer.
Value of cards from 2 to 10 counts at face value
Jack counts as 11
Queen count as 12
King count as 13
Aces count as 14

One deck of 52 cards is used. The cards are shuffled after each round of play. The game is played on a table similar to a blackjack table.

Players begin by making a bet that is made by selecting the amount of chips you wish to wager. After a wager has been placed, players press the "DEAL" button and the table dealer draws two cards and places them face up on the table, for all to see. A Red Dog is then placed on the table identifying the spread between the two cards the dealer has drawn. If the dealer draws a pair hand or a consecutive hand then a third card will not be drawn. If the dealer draws a non-consecutive hand then the players have the option to double their wager by clicking on the "RAISE" button. In this case a third card is drawn. Details related to the three different hand types are listed below.

A pair hand is when the dealer draws two cards of the same value (for example, two Jacks). In this case, the dealer will automatically draw a third card. If the value of the third card is the same as the previous two, all players win with a payoff of 11:1. If the value of the third card is different from the previous two, the hand is declared a push and the player's original wager is returned.

Consecutive hands, is when the delt cards have a consecutive value, (for example, 3 and 4, or Jack and Queen). In this case, the hand is declared a push and the player's wager is returned.

A Non-consecutive hand is when the dealer draws two cards, which are not consecutive, or the same, this is called a non-consecutive hand. The dealer will indicate the spread between the two cards drawn and place a Red Dog on the table indicating the spread. The spread is the number of values that fall between the two cards drawn by the dealer. Example, if the two cards drawn are 3 and 8, the spread is 4 since there are four values between the 3 and 8 (4, 5, 6, 7,).

Players now have the option to make a raise, equal to the amount of their initial wager, by clicking on the "RAISE" before to the deeler draws the third card. Players may also stand on their wager by clicking on the "STAND" button. Once the player has acted the dealer draws the third card.

Players win if the third card value falls between the value of the two cards drawn by the dealer.
